You can’t see it, but that room is full of Ninjas.
I just wanted to write a quick post as to what’s going on in The Ninjaverse. There are some changes, and some thank you’s, that need to be doled out first. I’ve had this site running in various incarnations for the better part of 4 years and we (Chris, Mike, JD and myself) have been doing the podcast for about a year. I just wanted to give a thank you to everyone who reads, listens and watches our shenanigans.
That being said, we’re not going anywhere, but some changes are about to happen but it’s nothing too Earth shattering so don’t worry.
1. In case you haven’t noticed, we’ve started using Google Hangout for our podcasts. The reasonf this is twofold. Firstly, Skype sucks ass. Secondly, we eventually want to bring YOU guys in on the fun. Live chat with us and interact with the show. Nothing can go wrong with that I’m sure.
2. There will be more actual written blog posts here. Not just by me either.
3. APPEARANCES! This weekend I will be in Comicpalooza in Houston with JD repping The Ninjaverse. We will be there with Ultness, Surly Nerd and Metal Geeks doing a couple of panels and generally just having fun with you guys. Hopefully there will be more appearances in the future so stat tuned!
3. There’s going to be a change in podcast hosting service. Currently we use Libsyn and I have no problems with them but they are a little pricey. We’re going to be switching to podbean next month (which will mark volume 2 of our shows) but what that means to you guys is that you may lose some of our shows in the transition. The audio version of our shows will return in June so, for now, you’ll have to enjoy our faces 🙂
